[Warriors of the Hardstyles]

Amateur hardstyle.

I am not really sure if this is actually a 'song'. It feels very random to me and not organised. The melody could use some more work on... putting random notes into the piano roll does not mean it's hard style.

Things to keep in mind for your next track: The arrangement, better build ups, better melodies, more percussion and the mix.

Keep practising, you got potential. Could you review back on my song? Criticism is appreciated.

In my opinion I don't think its 'very random' and it is organised. I guess you don't listen to much hardstyle as you mention 'more percussion' but that is hardstyle, but I'm not good enough to make the kick epic enough, mixing in snares and cymbals to a good kick makes it seem too cloudy.
I do agree in some parts with the melody but it is a hardstyle melody, I wouldn't say the best. But I don't just sit there with my thumb up my ass shoving random notes into the piano roll.

It would be nice if you could clarify 'better build ups' its little umm vague?

Not bad.

I like the bass in your track. I believe that bass is designed for house, but you used it well. The melody is catchy, good job on that.

What I did not like about this track is that the mix is a bit cluttered and there is not a lot of variation. You should make an intro, build up, climax, outro, with different variations of your main chord progressions. Otherwise, the song gets boring.

Downtempo is sick.

I am loving this song Fiji. Very smooth and relaxing. The thunder roll at 3:50 was a
very nice touch. It is hard to find songs that use thunder in a good way.

However, I do think that when the song starts up again around 4:10, to me, I would put in a slower build up. I guess that is just a preference. Who knows, it may not sound better.

Have you considered making an album? I need a Downtempo album in my music collection...

I hear some Above & Beyond influence...

Excellent song Pulstate. It reminds me of Children by Robert Miles.

My only issue with the song is the sweep effect and the delay on the crash. The sweep tends to lack energy and is way overused. Please try and stay away from that next time.

Just realised that the delay was still on the crash, FAIL!

I also thought it was annoying, and removed it, but obviously it's in this MP3.
